Powder concentrator is also called separator, which is installed on the upper of the vertical mill and licked with the middle shell. The separator comprises a shell, cage rotor, wind guide blades and gearing. Its inner structure is reasonable, separating efficiency is high and energy-saving effect is obvious.
From above picture, we know that the working principle has four steps:
1. Through grinding and being dried, the substance with the air go into powder concentrator together through bottom and the wind guide blades making the powder and air together becoming a tangential flow. The rotation direction of trochanteric is same to the whirlpool orientation of wind guide blades.
2. The space between wind guide blades and rotor vane form a centrifugal one which makes the powder and air separate.
3. Large-grained material is cast to external, fell down by gravity, collected and returned to grinding table for re-grinding.
4. Together with the air, the finished material leave the powder concentrator through the outlet conduit
1. Advanced classification principle, increasing the diversity.
Using O-SEPA classification principles (that is whirlpool grading area formed by wind guide blades and cage rotors) design the grading area, add dispersal and pre-grading areas making the dispersal and powder selecting zones separated effectively, which extremely increased the material diversity, decreased the load of main grading area and relieved the interference effect between large and fine granules.
2. Simply adjusting fineness.
The fineness of finished material is decided by the rotor speed. Increasing the rotor speed, the material fineness is finer; on the contrary, the material granule will be coarse.
3. Obvious energy-saving effect
The equipment system adopts geometric design which reduced the systemic resistance evidently and powder selecting is internal recycling. The fines collecting uses high-efficient and low-resistant cyclone instead of large-scale gas tank pulse dust collectors, which not only reduce the system electric consumption, but also lower investment cost and maintenance charge, energy-saving and cost-reducing effects are deeply obvious.
4. Improving end product quality, avoiding over grinding
Because the equipped powder concentrator is high-efficient and high-precision, the over grinding phenomenon is reduced. The size distribution of end product particle is narrow and the grading composition is reasonable.
