In winter, the temperature is low, the viscosity of the lubricating oil increases, and the fluidity decreases, so it has a great impact on the lubricating effect of the ball mill; Due to the large difference in temperature between equipment shutdown and work, as the operating time increases, the temperature of the lubricating oil will gradually rise, the viscosity will continue to drop, and the pressure will gradually decrease. At this time, if the valve cannot be adjusted in time and the pipeline resistance is increased, the continuous low oil supply pressure will cause the alarm to stop grinding. Therefore, in winter, it is very important to do a good job of lubricating the ball mill.

1. Choose thinner lubricating oil to ensure better fluidity at low temperature;
2. At the beginning of winter, all lubricating oil should be discharged when the ball mill has been running continuously for one month, thoroughly cleaned, and replaced with new oil.
3. When the equipment is turned on, refueled, or changed in winter, the oil should first be heated to about 25°C. If the grinding is stopped for more than 8 hours, the main bearing lubricating oil needs to be discharged and heated to about 20°C before being poured in.
4. Equipped with large and small gear spray lubrication system, which automatically controls the amount of fuel injection and displays the working process, enhances the lubrication effect, reduces gear wear, and ensures a stable lubrication state;
5. The lubricating oil that has deteriorated or is not clean must not be used. Before adding new lubricating oil, the new lubricating oil must be filtered;
6. Check the lubrication condition and oil level of each lubrication point at least every four hours.
